Fall Equinox, The Witch's Thanksgiving, Harvest Festival of the Grain ...Demeter, mother of corn and grain, keeper of the mystery of life, be with me tonight. The earth had turned and summer is gone from us. Like you I grieve to see the plants dwindle and decay. Live must give way to death, youth to age and light to dark, but the womb of darkness brings forth the seed of light and after death comes rebirth Lord of the Underworld, whose spirit had gone into the grain, be with me tonight. Comfort me as the darkness grows and life retreats from the land. In the midst of warmth and plenty, give me the courage to face the coming winter... We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
